January Dividends

January was a rough month. Work has been super busy. Got hit with some car repairs and a parking ticket from the valet on our mini family vacation. All some good news, that has the potential to negatively impact my ability to contribute in the near term. But the good news is the dividends keep rolling in. January four companies paid a total of $10.88. Given that last January I was at $6.70, I'll take it. The snowball continues despite some short term financial setbacks.

Below is a list of my January dividend payers.

PEP     $3.71
TIF      $1.65
DIS     $1.76
O         $3.76

  1. Mama said they'll be months like that. ;) But yes, those dividends keep on rolling in. :) For us, we are planning to use our dividend income stream to supplement retirement expenses. We share a common dividend payer in O, gotta love those monthly dividends, right!?

Best wishes and continued success throughout 2019! AFFJ

    1. Indeed. I'm fortunate to be in the situation I am in overall. I actually may have some good news to report soon. But getting hit hard with some Bill's in the near term.

    1. Yes in terms of percentages it's great. That's the great thing about adding to those off months. Thanks for the comment Dividend Diplomats.

  3. Even when stuff happens it is great to have your money working for you quietly and constantly in the background - growing that snowball! Best of luck this year! :)

    1. MDD I do love the money working in the background. Some life events happened, that set me back a little in terms of the overall savings plan. But to some extent have to look at life as a journey and not a destination.
