  1. Hi,

I checked ADM some time ago as well, but after analyzing their cash flow, it looks they are generating negative cash flow, so I decided not to buy it.

What was your motivation buying it?

    1. The short version is I believe their problems are short term relating partially to the Ethanol shutdown. You have a company that has raised their dividend for 44 consecutive years at close to a 5 year low. The products they deal with oils, soybeans, wheat, barley, and cocoa aren't going anywhere. Their size and supply chain give them a tremendous advantage. I'm no expert by any means. But I'm comfortable playing the long game with ADM.

  2. Congrats on the purchase Seedling. I just picked up about 12 shares of XOM.

    1. Good stuff. Sounds like an excellent value move. I just didn't want to risk it right now.
